Honest Home Care provides home care and companionship services to loved ones who need assistance in Akron and surrounding areas. Whether they are recovering from surgery, prone to falling, living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, or have limited mobility, we can help.
There are no predetermined amount of hours or times of the day that we provide home healthcare. The caregiver and the number of hours are matched to the needs of each client. Home healthcare options include 24-hour care or as little as a couple of hours of care each week. We will customize a plan specific to you and the needs of your loved one.
Home Healthcare Services Provided
Daytime and Evening Care
With daytime and/or evening home healthcare, a caregiver will provide care during the day and/or evening based on the client’s needs. There are no predetermined amount of hours or times of the day. The caregiver and the number of hours are matched to the needs of each client.
Overnight Care
With overnight home healthcare, a caregiver will arrive at your loved one’s home for the evening hours leading up to bedtime and will remain available for assistance until morning. Overnight caregivers provide peace of mind for your family by assisting with needs that may arise during the night, such as wakefulness, toileting, repositioning, fall prevention, and nighttime medication reminders.
24-Hour Care
With 24-hour home healthcare, two or more caregivers will monitor your loved one’s care at all times so that someone is always awake and available to help. We will assist your loved one with mobility, fall prevention, bathing and dressing, personal care, wandering prevention, meal preparation, medication reminders, and other needs.
Companion Care
Our Companion Care services aim to ensure your loved ones feel loved and don’t struggle with the day-to-day.
